How to Uninstall Altruistics?

To delete Altruistics, please do as follows.
1.Open Control Panel and click Uninstall a program under Programs.
2. Scroll down to check and locate the program that was recently installed but you have no idea of where it comes from. Right-click on it to choose Uninstall.
3. When you finish the removal, close the window and right-click on the Start icon to choose Task Manager.
4. Check if Altruistics.exe is still on the list. If it is, right-click on the process to choose Open file location. If it is located in a third-party software installation folder, then uninstall the third-party program containing the virus and its associated files and folders.

Note: If you cannot uninstall the program, you canboot your computer in Safe Modeand then uninstall this program.
5. After that, please go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection and click the Scan options link from the right panel.
6. Check the option of Windows Defender Offline scan and then Scan now.
When all of these are finished, the Altruistics virus can be removed.
Apart from the above steps, you can also use your third-party antivirus software to scan viruses for your Windows, such as Malwarebytes.
