I feel like I have a right ear infection, there is minimal pain but the clogged feeling and deafened sound is awful. I don't know what to do to fix it. Anyone else experience this?!

Thank you all. I'm really hoping it goes away soon. I don't know how much longer I can deal with it

Yes you can definitely take an antihistamine to try to clear it up, but I’ve had this at least 3 times this pregnancy and each time peroxide has worked wonders! It’s a home remedy that you put it and just leave in for like 1-3 minutes and repeat as often as needed up to 3 times a day. Each time I felt an ear infection coming on, I have done this and by the next morning it is gone!

@agilfillan,
do you put the peroxide on a cotton ball?

@bluedot1,
nope just a couple of drops straight into the ear canal until you feel that rush sensation that it’s in there. And then just let it sit in there for a couple minutes and turn it upside down and let it run out and air dry after that. I read it on a medical homeopathic/home remedy article once and it seemed to be one of the safest options and it works great for me and my husband when we have felt that ear plugged/ear infection feeling.

Ask yalls OBs if you can start Flonase nasal spray. You can use afrin sparingly and practice popping your ears throughout the day.

@ashleys64,
it’s likely Eustachian tube dysfunction related to hormonal changes.

I had a sinus infection and fluid on the ear, I was prescribed antibiotics but decided to hold off and it cleared up on its own. I did nasal rinse to deal with congestion (Navage).
