Biography
Clyde Herman Trimpe was born on 13 February 1915 in Biggs, Mason County, Illinois to Adolph Herman Trimpe (1882-1935) and Henrietta Marie Kathrina Strube (1881-1975). [1] [2] [3]
Clyde Herman Trimpe married Clara Elizabeth White (1909-1993) on 29 May 1943 [4] [5] in Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland. [4]
Clyde Herman Trimpe died aged 82 on 9 December 1997 in Havana, Mason County, Illinois [6] [7] and was buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Havana, Mason County, Illinois, United States of America. [5]

Obituary
Born to Adolph and Henrietta Strube Trimpe, Clyde married Clara Elizabeth White on May 29, 1943, in Baltimore. She died Feb. 27, 1993.
Two sisters also preceded him in death.
Surviving are one sister, Agnes Trimpe of Havana, and several cousins.
A World War II Army Air Forces veteran, he was a member of Havana American Legion Post 138.
He operated a shoe store from 1938 to 1940. He later was a clerk, salesman and repairman at Zemple Hardware from 1946 to 1980. He graduated from several product and service schools.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Havana and Havana Optimist Club.
Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
